This song is brilliant

Out of the doubt that fills my mind...

I somehow find, you and I collide.

Being sick is the worst, especially when it's the second time in two weeks.
Here's to hoping that since it is day five it is almost over with...

Love this...

We move just like the moon and the sun....

It is not a secret that I don't like Halloween. It is definitely my least favorite holiday, but it is a holiday so of course I'll participate in the traditions. I do LOVE fall though and I have been working on this bucket list for fall and here is my progress so far:
Obviously I'm slacking! I've got to get going in order to accomplish all of these before winter comes! Wish me luck!

This is probably one of the cutest things I've seen. I honestly hope this will be possible for me :)

P.S. I am ridiculously excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The most wonderful time of the year!

Really....

What would we do without Pandora?

Love this song.
I know it's not a great video, this was the best I could find.

On hard days....

This Is Pure Happiness...

The time we spent apart will make our love grow stronger...

An Iowa couple married for 72 years died holding hands in a Des Moines hospital within 70 minutes of each other last week after a car accident that also injured another couple.
"They're very old-fashioned. They believed in marriage 'til death do you part," Dennis Yeager, the son of Gordon and Norma Yeager, told ketv.com.
The accident that claimed Gordon, 94, and Norma Yeager, 90, happened Oct. 12, when the couple left their State Center home for a drive shortly after 8 a.m. At the intersection of Highway 30 and Jessup Avenue, just west of Marshalltown, Gordon pulled "away from the stop sign and failed to yield to a westbound vehicle," according to Sgt. Joel Ehler of the Iowa State Patrol.
The driver of the other car, Charles Clapsaddle, 64, of Marshalltown, was unable to stop to avoid a collision, Ehler said.
Clapsaddle was treated and released from Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center, but his wife, Barbara, was reportedly transferred to Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A man who identified himself as their son, John, said in a comment published on a story on the Times-Republican website that his mother suffered internal bleeding and a broken neck.
“She is currently stable but remains in the critical care unit,” he wrote. “There will be a long road ahead for her recovery.
Ehler said Yeager was facing pending action by the Iowa Department of Transportation to have his license removed, but citing privacy concerns, said he could release no additional details on what prompted that action.
The Yeagers' children told ketv.com that their parents never liked being apart ever since Norma Stock married Gordon Yeager on May 26, 1939, in State Center. And they were relieved that the couple was able to spend their last moments together at the intensive care unit of the Marshalltown hospital.
"They brought them in the same room in intensive care and put them together — and they were holding hands in ICU. They were not really responsive," Dennis Yeager told ketv.com.
Gordon died at 3:38 p.m. surrounded by their family and holding hands with Norma.
"It was really strange, they were holding hands, and dad stopped breathing but I couldn't figure out what was going on because the heart monitor was still going," said Dennis Yeager. "But we were like, he isn't breathing. How does he still have a heart beat? The nurse checked and said that's because they were holding hands and it's going through them. Her heart was beating through him and picking it up."

Norma died at 4:48 p.m., according to ketv.com. "Neither one of them would've wanted to be without each other. I couldn't figure out how it was going to work," the Yeagers' daughter Donna Sheets told ketv.com. "We were very blessed, honestly, that they went this way."
The Yeager’s children said the couple complemented each other.
"Anybody come over — she was the hostess with the mostess. ... The more she did, the more she smiled," Dennis Yeager told ketv.com. "Dad would be the center of attention, like, 'Wheee look at me,' and mom was like 'get him away from me!' You know we even got a picture like that."
And even though they argued every now and them, "They just loved being together," he said.
"He said 'I have to stick around. I can't go until she does because I have to stay here for her and she would say the same thing,'" he said.
The couple reportedly were holding hands Tuesday at their funeral in their casket. Their family said the plan was to cremate them together and mix their ashes.

I love this place, but it's haunted...

Why is it.....

--fancy hot chocolate always tastes better?

(or maybe its just the company?)

--movies are better when you're wearing sweats?

--the smell of fall is one of the best things in the world?

True.....silly girls and their mind games, gotta love it :)

I know we most likely won't have a real fall (I will still keep my fingers crossed for it though!) I ran across this cute list and I would love to accomplish all of them. More than likely you will get to read about my experiences :)

You and Me walk on, because you can't go back now...

This was a fantastic weekend!
So, of course, I'm going to tell you about it :)
Friday:
It started out with a beautiful wedding with Bailey.
After the wedding Tanece and I had a party. (A watch movies eat junk food kind of party)
A couple of things we learned from this experience...
-We are terrible at picking movies
-It is never a good idea to sleep on the little couch
-Just because it's supposed to be a 'chick flick' or romantic movie doesn't mean it won't be creepy or weird or frustrating or sad.
-Junk food never tasted so good
-Salt and Vinegar chips do not last very long in this apartment
-The best kind of sleepovers are with your roommates because you still have all your stuff and don't have to go home in the morning.

Saturday:
Didn't get nearly enough sleep (seem to be doing a lot of that nonsense lately)
Went to my lacrosse game
The girls played hard but lost :(
Went shopping with Tanece....got a new skirt!!
$5 footlongs!
Bundled up in 20 layers to go to the football game
-It turned out to not be that cold and didn't need one of the layers
BYU won :)
Watched P.S. I Love You

Sunday:
Once again did not get enough sleep (thanks to turning my alarm of in my sleep for giving me a little extra time)
Carli gave an amazing talk! She was so happy, confident and funny. I am so glad I could be there, the spirit was so strong.
All 7 of the girls were there (which is a rare occurrence these days)
There were tears, laughs, and of course jumping pictures.
I got too reminiscent and realized this was the last time all of us would be together before Cari left, and people started getting married.
It's crazy how the world works. Are we even old enough to be doing this stuff? I'm pretty sure we're not...

All in all a great weekend. I am now making up for it though and doing homework and hopefully going to bed early!
I hope everyone's weekend was just as great!
Oh and did I mention I'm a little obsessed with The Weepies, must've forgotten ;)

Where no one knows my name...

Life is funny, life's a mess, sometimes a curse, sometimes a blessing...
(Thank you Dixie Chicks for describing life perfectly)

It is FREEZING!!! I am not a fan....
Fall we had it going so well, what happened?
Snow on the tops of the mountains....yeah, welcome to Utah.

In other news, I heard one of the songs from Justin Bieber's Christmas Album. Umm amazing :) Can't wait!

I know I've posted this one again but it is (and probably always will be) my very most favorite song so totally worth a repost...
Lastly,
This Sunday, one of my bestest friends is giving her "talk before she leaves on a mission"--farewell--I can tell you she is going to be the most amazing missionary. Crazy to think we are old enough to do that kind of stuff, right? I love her and am so proud of her, she is amazing!

Maybe it's me and my blind optimism to blame....

I love rain.
More than anything.

Keep it coming fall :)

The World Spins Madly On...

This is definitely worth watching. Great song. Beautiful dancing couple.
Quote from my class today that ties into this,
"Marriage then is redeeming the pledge made at the betrothal by uniting a man and a woman in a dance of intimacy for the rest of their lives."

I love the interesting things I learn in my classes.
I hate the ridiculous amounts of homework I have (and the terrible problem I have of procrastination)
I love the things I do instead of my homework.
I have the best roommates and friends.
I love football more than anything.
