College....year two....

As sad as it is to see the summer ending, I am actually excited for school this year (mainly because I don't have to wake up at 5 anymore =/ ) needless to say this summer hasn't really been a summer so I'm looking forward to fall!!

I moved into my apartment on Monday along with my roommate Allison. The other two girls living with us didn't move in until today.

My Room (1)

My desk/closet/bookshelf (the bookshelf was definitely a selling point for these apartments :) )

The first night we didn't have a shower curtain (ironically) so Allison had the brilliant idea to use her snuggie. It actually worked out great :)

Have no fear though we did get a "real" shower curtain, isn't it cute :) (miss the zebra though!!)

Thanks to Alli's dad we were going to celebrate moving into our new apartment by going to dinner at Olive Garden on Monday night. But, due to our extreme packing/unpacking skills we were exhausted and both crashed on the couch watching tv. We went to bed at 9:30 instead!
The next day was definitely not as tiring so we decided to go then (especially since we had NO food, ha you would think coming back to school for your second year of college would make you more prepared but apparently we missed that memo!)
We got to Olive Garden around 8pm, and it was SO crowded.....uh its Tuesday what the random?? but anyways  we sit down and decide we are making the most of this free meal. We ate as much salad and as many breadsticks as we could. Meanwhile, twenty minutes pass and our server keeps appologizing for how long it is taking but we really haven't noticed we've just been chatting and chowing. Pretty soon the manager comes over and told us to be more upset so he could give us free dessert, well we are starving college students so when we  hear free we are all in. It really only took them 25 minutes to get our food out to us (not that long to me but oh well). We ended up bringing home most of our main dishes, breadsticks and delicious cheesecake. I am fully proud of our accomplishments :) Thank you Olive Garden for feeding us for two days!!

Mmmmm free dessert never tasted so good :)
Don't worry we did get groceries, so we do have food now! I will post more pictures of the apartment soon!
