Forever could see us, not you and me...
This is where I want to be right now, not a care in the world. A good book to read and I would be perfectly content.
Sadly, that is not a realistic possibility.
However, there is another place that fills me with peace and joy.......the library! (or a bookstore for that matter)
This week I accomplished the first from off of my list...I got a library card (I know, I know I'm 5 years old. I've accepted that fact) I walked into this huge beautiful building and never wanted to leave. Since I can't go to the beach on a regular basis I suppose this will do :)
If you need me I'll be reading......
Listen....it's worth it!

Don't you notice life goes on....
Last month my amazing coworker decided to make a list of 21 things to do before she turned 21 (which was November 1) This inspired me and I decided to make one of my own. (Luckily I have more time than she did, hopefully I can do it all in 7 months) Of course, I will keep you all updated on my progress because there is some pretty awesome stuff on this list :) It took me a long time to compile this list, it's harder than you would think! Some things are silly and some have always been a dream of mine. So, without further adieu....
21 Things to do before I turn 21
1. Go on a hot air balloon ride
2. Milk a cow
3. Go backpacking (to Ostler lake with the family!)
4. Picnic on a beach
5. Save at least $500
6. Visit/do baptisms at all the LDS Temples in Utah
7. Go to a drive in movie
8. Run a 5k for a charity
9. Learn how to do a back flip on the tramp
10. Go on a road trip
11. Stay up all night and watch the sunrise
12. Go to Disneyland
13. Visit a Zoo
14. Go camping with friends
15. Make a sidewalk chalk work of art
16. Attempt to learn a different language
17. Read as many travel books as possible (specifically for the top 5 countries I want to visit)
18. Look at the constellations through a telescope
19. Get a Provo Library Card
20. Get my Concealed Weapons Permit (won't actually happen until I am 21)
21. At least one service project a month
What do you think? Pretty good list right? I am so excited to get started! I'm ready to make the best of the rest of my 20th year :)
Don't worry I wouldn't post without my latest song obsession :)

Just let me cry...
Today, the Prophet came to school. I love when he comes, I love the excitement and the crowds of people that gather to listen to him. I love the immediate reverence that falls over the 20,000 young adults as he enters the room. I love that he is called of God and speaks for Him. I love that he has a sense of humor and most importantly I love that I can see and feel the love he has for me and everyone in the world. I am thankful for a prophet today and everyday.
He spoke on being an example of the believers, it was powerful. We all make a difference even if it doesn't always feel like it. He even quoted Lion King "Look inside yourself, you are more than what you have become. Remember who you are."
I definitely needed to hear that this week.
A song that describes me fairly well. Church music is my go to for mood lifters.
