The Best Day of the whole year has come and passed and as always much too quickly. The worst part being, I was busy doing school all day long. I knew it was the best day of the year though because everywhere you turn people are wearing the best color in the whole world GREEN :) The weather was exceptionally nice which added to this wonderful holiday. To make the day even better I aced a Book of Mormon test and my American Fork girl's won their first game! I was so excited and I was so happy it was such an amazing day. The thing that would've made it the best holiday that it is would've been to celebrate it or have a party with friends and family! Next year will be even better :) Just in case anyone is wondering why I'm weird and St. Patrick's Day is my favorite holiday the answer is simple....everything is green and I love four leaf clovers! P.S. My top five holidays go as follows...1. St. Patricks Day 2. Thanksgiving 3. Christmas 4. Earth Day 5. Valentine's Day

BRIAN REGAN!!!!

This past Christmas I surprised John (for once in my life!) with tickets to Brian Regan, our favorite comedian. We have been anxiously awaiting this day for a long time and he didn't disappoint. It was surreal to see him live instead of just listening to him on our ipods or watching his dvds. He had a lot of new material and we were constantly laughing. We went to Olive Garden before and that was delicious. All in all it was a great night! Still can't believe it actually happened :) It went by way too quickly and I can't wait till he comes back again!!! Take Luck!

Gotta Love Weekends at Home....

Saturday:
Lacrosse JV Playday was all day on Saturday....our first game was against Olympus and we beat them with quite a large scoring margin. The second game was against Murray, I don't know if the girls just got too confident or something but we lost. The loss was a good opportunity, however, to go over things that needed to be worked on. We then had a half hour break and during that break the Alta coaches came up to me and Kaitlin and asked if they could be our final game for the day (the Pocatello team, which was our last game, didn't show up and both teams wanted 4 games) so we said yes. Immediately we redid our starting line up so we would be ready for that last game. After the break we played Riverton and we played hard and won again. This was a confidence booster considering we had lost to their Varsity in a Scrimmage last week. This was also great because it proved that our team is improving quickly which gives me great hope for the future. Anyways, before/during the game against Alta I was so nervous. I wanted to beat them so bad to prove to them that we could be awesome even though it's a brand new team. It was entertaining considering a year ago I was on that team and still knew quite a few of the team members. Well the final score was 4-1.......for us!! I can't even believe it! It was so incredible. Maybe I am overreacting but it seriously made me so happy. Bring on the real season!
This is my official badge :) :) I feel so professional with it on! ^

After the tournament me and John made the most delicious dinner! It was an incredible chicken with red potatoes and salad. I won't give you the recipe because its secret ;) Thanks for a great night babe it was fun cooking with you!

The Mikado

The Mikado...
Once upon a time in a far away place known as Titipu Japan, a young woman, Yum-Yum is about to be married. But when her lost love comes back to Titipu to wed her and finds her about to be married and the town finds out the Mikado is on his way to punish the city, the town must come together to solve all of their problems. What will they do? Filled with colorful characters and a humorous plot, the Mikado is a heartwarming performance for the whole family.

Jake was in the Theatre III short production (it was only 20 minutes long). Now I know it sounds ridiculous but it was actually pretty funny, or maybe entertaining would be the right word :), but I could've sat and watched it for another hour!

Jake was the Mikado!!

After the play we went to the wedding of Cameron Merrill and Kelli Elder, and then to Red Robin with the parents for dinner.
