Waterfalls and bestfriends...

A week ago one of my best friends returned home from his mission.
of course it was while I was in Mexico, so I couldn't go to the homecoming...
But we made up for it by going to lunch and on a crazy hike with our other friend Emily :)
It was a great day and so nice to have you home Taylor!!
Breath taking

Me and Em

please ignore my frightening neck...

So excited for Breanne and for all of us to hang out again, almost like old times!!

P.S. Random sidenote, my Blogger hates me and I am unable to comment on my posts. So if you have commented recently and I haven't said anything I promise I tried and it just wouldn't let me  :( sorry guys. Thanks for reading my nonsense anyway!

Toes in the water, toes in the sand...

Last week was our family vacation to Cancun, Mexico and it was wonderful!
I love the ocean. Spending 8 days on the beach was heaven!

Vamos a la playa!

Chatting it up in Spanish

Checking in at the Resort. After a long day of traveling we just wanted to go to the beach!

Perfection

We had a perfect view from our balcony. It was great to sit out there reading in the moonlight while listening to the waves crash on the beach :)

On our way to church.

Monday morning was stormy. The boys were just waiting for the storm to blow over.

At Outback Steakhouse

On our way to Xel-ha. Josh's 13th Birthday!

Snorkeling

Church in Playa del Carmen

Happy Birthday J man!

The pictures don't do it justice. We had a great time just relaxing at the beach, swimming in the ocean and pool, and of course getting fried :)
I would go back in a heart beat! I definitely need to move somewhere close to the ocean.

I guess this is growing up...

I have to appologize for not posting about Memorial Weekend sooner, I don't have an excuse really but I am doing it now :)

Saturday we made the Trek to Moroni...

It was hard going this year without Grandpa :(

3 out of the 5 siblings. I am so glad we all were able to go together.

Grandpa's brother. Grandon, killed in WWII on Christmas day.

Cutest little girl. Marley :)

Then Monday we had our breakfast and went to Wasatch Lawn with the Stallings...
The weather was reverse of all the other years. Usually it's cold and windy in Moroni and hot and sunny for Memorial Day but this year the weather was really nice in Moroni and cold and rainy on Monday.

New addition to the headstone. A QR code, you know the things that are popping up everywhere? Well if you have a smart phone and download the QR scanner app, and happen to be visiting Wasatch Lawn Cemetery and stumble upon my grandma's grave scan this and you will be taken to a page dedicated to her. Cool right? (She was a beautiful woman so prepare to be wowed :) ) But if you don't go there and still want to see the website click here.
And anyone interested in getting one for a headstone go here

My Grandpa even did it on his blackberry, he loved it!
--And no photo but I also made a stop and left a flower for the Davies' who are also at Wasatch Lawn.

All in all it was a great Memorial Weekend. I love getting together with family and having BBQ's and visiting cemeterys.

In other news....
Ben's birthday was on the 1st which started June, the month of birthdays in our family. He is 23 and a very eligible bachelor, ladies :) Love ya brother! Happy Birthday.

Last Saturday I did something I never thought I would do.....I ran a 5k...haha ok stop laughing now I really did.
Here's proof.

I know we're nerds :) My dad is on the Junior Achievement Board and they were having their first annual fun run and 5k and we decided to do it. It was way fun and not a horrible as I thought it was going to be. We didn't die, which was our biggest concern!

Oh and I almost forgot.....

I'm 20 years old. Today! Weird.
