Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy....

Saturday was a busy day filled with beautiful sunshine!!

Started out with the first lacrosse games of the season. Yay!! :) The Red Team won their game and the Black Team lost theirs so it was bittersweet!  (We had 40 girls sign up for lacrosse so they split up into two teams)

I got super sunburned because it was 80 wonderful degrees. And because it was such a perfect day weatherwise we decided to take Josher shooting (we owed him for running an errand for us).

He's been wanting to go for forever and keeps reminding me that I owe him that and Arby's which is "our thing"--mmmm curly fries--anyway we all had a great time! He absolutely loved it! The weather was fantastic we had a great spot in the middle of nowhere and it was a great chance to get away from all the worries/stresses in life!

We were all exhausted and stopped at Training Table afterwards. Such a great fun-filled Saturday!

Don't Give Up...

What an incredible weekend.
I love General Conference and hearing the words of the prophets.
I also love church music, so listening to FM100 on Sundays is a must! I have come to believe that you hear songs on there that you are meant to hear and that's one of the things I like most about it.
Well tonight on my way back to Provo the first song that came on was...

Nothing better than Josh Groban!

It was a great way to end a great couple of days.



I am so thankful for our Latter-day prophet.

What better way to break from the constant stress of school and take a day trip to the west desert and shoot?

So the Saturday before last we packed up the truck, got some Blimpie for dinner, threw it in the cooler and headed off.

The weather was perfect for being outside. Glad we were able to enjoy the warm weather!

 After the sun went down we wrapped in a million blankets (the warm day quickly disappeared) and layed in the back of the truck and looked at all the stars. It was incredible to see all of them and we even saw Venus and Jupiter!

Both so excited about our shots :)

Great time with great friends! Thanks B & T for spending the day with us always an adventure!

As I am being slowly consumed by the end of the semester I resort to watching the DVD of our last summer Cancun trip. Take me back please!
